Merry Christmas

We all enjoyed our celebration assembly allowing the KS2 children to share the songs they performed for parents in St Cedd's and St Teresa's and giving the KS1 children the opportunity to once again sing the songs they have learnt for their Christmas Performances.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a properous New Year.

Remembrance Day

The children in Key Stage 1 remembered all the soldiers who have died for us. We were silent for 2 minutes and the children laid a poppy by the soldiers helmet.

Year2 went on a short visit to the war memorial park. We had to walk to the war memorial park.
When we arrived we stood in front of the war memorial statue. We came to the war memorial park because we had to think about the soldiers that died and pray for them. Miss Flood read out a pray and we had to say may they rest in peace. Then me and Emily went to draw the war memorial statue, the big building and the plaque. MrsGannon let me record the war memorial statue and everything else. On the memorial statue there was a big soldier wearing a dirty uniform. Soon it was time to go.
