Oh Happy Days!
The children and staff of St Aidan's joined with many primary schools around the UK for a special Sing Up. At 11 o'clock we all gathered together in the school Hall and joined in singing, "Oh Happy Days!" Both the children and the staff had a wonderful time.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World Week
The children celebrated Knowledge and Understanding of the World Week, this week. Each year group were given a time in history to learn about. The children used their research skills to find out all about that time. The children shared what they had learnt in a celebration assembly on Thursday and they also dressed up as historical figures.
Thank you to Mrs Rockall and Miss Flood for organising this exciting week.

Safter Internet Day
Tuesday 9th February marks Safer Internet Day. All around the country children talked about E-Safety. The children in St Aidan's talked about how to stay safe when they use the Internet. The Internet is a wonderful tool but we need to be able to use it sensibly and safely. The children used the resources on www.thinkuknow.co.uk to help them understand how important it is to be E-Safe!
